When reserving rooms be sure to inform the reservation desk that you are participating in the Smart Center Workshops to receive reduced Lodge rates. The Smart Center cannot guarantee room availability for late reservations so reserve your room as soon as you register for your workshop.

Parking is free at the Lodge at Santa Fe.

Note: If the Lodge gets booked with other customers before you register for the Smart Center workshop, there are many other hotels, bed and breakfasts and motels available close to the Lodge.

Transportation

Most people visiting Santa Fe NM fly into Albuquerque NM Sun port, which is a full service airport just 50 miles from Santa Fe and rent a car at the airport to drive to Santa Fe, however there is the New Mexico Rail Runner Express train service from Albuquerque to Santa Fe available several times per day and that is extremely inexpensive (approximately $5.00 each way). The Rail Runner terminal is approximately 2 miles from the airport so those wanting to take the train to Santa Fe will need to take a taxicab to the train station upon arrival at the airport.

Each participant will be responsible for arranging their own transportation too and from Albuquerque and Santa Fe.

American Airlines

As of June 2009 AA began offering limited air service to the Santa Fe municipal airport. For those not wanting to fly into Albuquerque and rent a car, this may be an option worth considering. Taxi service is available from the Santa Fe municipal airport and the Lodge.

The Lodge at Santa Fe offers shuttle service to the town center plaza and the Rail Runner train station only. Workshop participants will be responsible for all transportation to and from Santa Fe and their hometowns.

The Smart Center Fees do not include:

Evening meals, any transportation other than that required of workshop activities, room upgrades, room service charges, room taxes or any other room or accommodation issues.

Evening Meals

The Smart Center will not provide evening meals except the closing Friday evening banquet.
