Connoisseurship: “The Exquisite Art of Persian Cuisine”

Workshop Brief

The art of Persian cuisine has been evolving for over 2000 years. Each dish is a balance of warm and cold ingredients, yin and yang of diet, cold and warm not in a literal meaning but as the nature of each ingredient.

A healthy body requires a balanced diet and a balanced diet consists of natural, healthy ingredients. Persian cuisine has changed throughout centuries traveling from culture to culture, embellishing king’s feast, tantalizing taste buds and evolving to match different tastes. The core purpose of this workshop is to not only teach the importance of each ingredient and develop individual taste, but to develop an understanding of the relationship of ingredients to each other, a relationship that demands balance. The Exquisite Art of Persian Cuisine opens your mind to developing new taste for food and a new outlook on life. It will cover how to envision original dishes, but also how to apply this new vision to a healthy life.

You will be exposed to Persian cuisine but more importantly how to plan healthy dishes that suite your own personal taste.
