Measuring Success as an Artist
The Business of Art and the Art of Business

Workshop Brief

Within the current economy artists in general are in dire need of new knowledge about art economics and perceptual and structural changes in the business of art. The more you as an artist learn how to take control of your career, reject old stereotypes about artists and embrace successful business models the sooner you will see and understand the Business of Art and the Art of Business.

This workshop will fill many of the glaring gaps that were omitted in your formal art education offering you business, sales and marketing perspectives that you may have overlooked as well as address the questions that you may never have known you should have asked.

During this three-day workshop Betsy will focus specifically on success as it relates to financial rewards and effective use of your creative time for art production. The workshop will offer advice, opinions, observation from years of buying, promoting and marketing artists and their work.
